In ISA Wuhan, class learning is the process of students practicing PBL project-based learning (PBL means that students acquire knowledge and skills through long-term inquiry and investigation to solve real and complex problems).

Evaluation System

The school is committed to providing students with a platform and assessment system suitable for their individual development. Instead of using scores as the only evaluation index, the school aims to cultivate all-rounded talents with comprehensive literacy through an enriched and professional quality curriculum as a carrier, as well as through academic cultivation, competitions, outdoor explorations, social practices, learning reflections and learning outcome reports, combined with professional and personalised guidance and assessment.

Parent-School Communication

The Three-way conference, one of the features of ISA parent-school communication. Parents get feedback and personalized guidance of the student and the students learn about their parents’ expectations and support.

ISA Wuhan also has a comprehensive home-school communication system (ManageBac), through which parents can keep abreast of teaching progress. Teachers use WeChat to answer parents’ questions, share information about students’ lessons, and send out school notices and study reports. The school also conducts regular parent classes to create a warm and reliable home-school atmosphere.
